Carfax.com provides quick and accurate vehicle history reports which
are used by potential buyers to reveal any major problems in a car's
past. Carfax.com gathers information from the Department of Motor Vehicles
and other reliable sources in order to present the most accurate history
report possible. The information on these reports is guaranteed to be
correct, insofar as items which have been reported to the DMV. If a buyer
receives a report from Carfax.com which shows no major problems and then

buy the car back. This guarantee is only valid with previous information
that was once reported to the DMV, and not with information that was
