Pat Goss' Vehicle History Tips
Finding Out About Your Car's Past
Buying a car is a major investment, so you want to be sure that you
make an informed decision. There's no reason to feel like you're rolling
the dice when buying a used car. Just purchase a used vehicle history
report which will alert you to any previous problems with the car. These
reports can uncover many different issues, all of which may make you
think twice about purchasing a particular vehicle. The vehicle history
report will let you know if the car has ever been stolen, if it was ever
used as a rental car, if it was ever involved in a major accident, and
even if it ever spent time as a taxi. You can use a vehicle history report
to see how many times the car has been bought and sold and in what years,
and also to get a general idea of the car's history. A car may look nice
on the outside and a mechanic's inspection may not reveal everything
there is to know about the car. If the car was once involved in a major
accident and then rebuilt, that is something you should be made aware
of before you decide to make your purchase.
