Car Insurance Is A Necessity

You simply can't get away with not having car insurance. Not only is it a legal requirement in most locations, but not having sufficient coverage for your car is asking for trouble. You may be the world's safest driver, but unfortunately not everyone else out on the road can boast such credentials. You cannot predict when an accident is about to occur, and you can't rely on the other driver to have adequate insurance coverage to cover the cost of repairing your car or paying your medical bills if you are seriously injured in the accident. Before you talk yourself into skipping this necessary expense, consider how much it would cost you to recover from a major vehicle accident: the repair of your car, the rental car, the time off from work, and the medical visits. Compare all these expenses to the average car insurance premium, and it is obvious that car insurance is not something that you should skimp on. You don't need to go out and find the most expensive comprehensive car insurance or the smallest deductible possible, but do find a policy which will be sufficient to your needs and which will cover you in the event of a major accident.
